Chy an Mor (the house’s original name meaning ‘House by the Sea’ in Cornish) is a beautiful 1700’s beach front property in the stunning fishing village of Kingsand, in the Rame Peninsula; often referred to as ‘Cornwall’s forgotten corner’.
The property has undergone a period of restoration to maintain and enhance its original character. Every single aspect of the interior has gone through a program of bespoke interior design with master craftsmen carrying out the work. Be it a relaxing weekend away or a week enjoying the beach, our house by the sea is flexible and versatile and can accommodate families and couples alike. We’re very dog friendly and welcome your furry family members free of charge.
Our position in Kingsand is extremely unique, just steps from the beach (as you can see here from our front steps), a couple more steps from another beach, countless walks by the sea and two pubs that not only serve the finest drinks but great food too. You’re in the heart of the village here at Chy an Mor, so much so that you can even read the Kingsand clock tower’s clock from your bedroom window!
